After the SPS Council meeting on 3rd March, Dr Hannah Mossman will deliver a talk on:
Saltmarsh Species Diversity
SPS MEMBERS AND INVITEES ONLY
If you are a regular Solent user, the appearance of the shoreline will matter to you.
At the London Habitat Creation Conference in November, for which SPS was a sponsor, there was a fascinating paper about some recent research into helping saltmarsh plants recolonise after habitat creation works. This research could be applicable within the Solent area, at Medmerry, Lymington and probably elsewhere.
We have invited Dr. Hannah Mossman, who is leading the research, to present the paper to the Solent Protection Society Council at 1200hrs on March 3rd at the Royal Southampton Yacht Club. There will be limited spaces available for a wider audience so if you would like to attend, please confirm via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will forward additional joining information.
